If you would like to come to a lure day, please bring a crate with you, if you have one. A toy for your dog, poo bags & water are supplied. We ask if you could be at the venue for 10:30 to book your dog in racing to start at 11:30 am and runs through till 4-5pm. There are full facilities at the site with hot & cold food & drinks and a fully licensed bar. Ample off road parking.
Our 1st time on the lure..This is a highly addictive sport to take part in with your dog/s. Any breed any age can take part. A great way to make new friends who like nothing better than to get out with the dogs and have a laugh.. Olsen ran 9.23 over 80mtrs through waterlogged ground everybody got absolutley filthy but they ALL had a smile on their faces..

#2 For us now. The turn out was great, 10 1st timers to which all done brilliant. It's amazing how quick the dogs pick it up. No matter what is asked of them. There was also a record breaker Sonny who ran an impressive 7.96 over 100 mtrs. I am sure if they were able to stay he would of beat that time. Extremley good for his 2nd run. Also Beau who won 1st first time out. And our very own Lunar got most improved dog of the day for running her 1st at 28.86secs then taking 11 secs of her time..Aswell as doing Lure chasing there was a fun weightpull session where everybody could try their dog out. Also some A-frame work. Unfortunatley didn't get any pics of dogs on the frame (sorry). If anybody has any pics of the day please send and we will add them to the site. Look forward to seeing you all at the next one...

Another great day on the lure. A few more 1st timers, which all did very well on the lure. Some dogs looked very good on the weightpull and A-frame. Thank you to everybody that took part in the Activities. If anyone has any other pics of the day please send and we will add them to the site. Unfortunatley one of our friends who was on their way to the event, suffered great loss, when his beautiful little dog Winnie was hit by a car and didn't make it. Our thoughts are with them all..
There was an A-frame competition as many times over in 1 minute results as follows. Ripley & Olsen both got the same, so went again.

Another great day out, even if the weather was a bit horrible. One thing i love about these days are actually seeing all the dogs get better times. It might only be 0.5 of a second some times more but all are improving each time out. Which means the dogs are getting fitter and healthier which can't be bad. The owners all have a great time picking up great bits of info to help out with their dogs. There was no A-frame or weightpull as the weather was raining. 21 dogs entered. Ronnie ran a very good run of 8.97 not sure what the quickest time for under 18" is. Jack also beat his record again running 6.91 x 2 this from a dog who was going to be put to sleep because he wouldn't run??? Obviously our dogs (Bullys) would never be able to beat the real running dogs but time difference is only a few seconds.
